Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer
I’m Jakub Noga. I design and operate infrastructure, automate the repetitive work, and make production systems easier to understand.
01 / About
My work spans Linux servers, Kubernetes platforms, cloud infrastructure and the systems that connect them. I approach infrastructure through the practical work of deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting it.
That means reproducible configuration, useful monitoring and careful upgrades. I care about what happens after deployment: how a system fails, how we find the cause, and how we make it easier to operate next time.
02 / Technical expertise
From bare metal to application delivery. Technologies grouped by the work they help me do.
Operating bare-metal and virtualized infrastructure, maintaining secure systems and planning upgrades with minimal disruption.
Designing and operating production platforms with GitOps delivery, network policies, autoscaling and distributed storage.
Connecting cloud and on-premises systems, migrating workloads, managing traffic and keeping services reachable through DNS, TLS and failover.
Operating replicated databases and highly available messaging, with attention to access control, cluster health and production troubleshooting.
Making infrastructure observable through metrics, logs and network visibility. Turning signals into actionable alerts and root-cause analysis.
Building secrets management, access control, vulnerability patching and system hardening into everyday operations.
Writing scripts and internal tools that reduce repetitive operations, support application runtimes and integrate language models into useful workflows.
03 / Engineering approach
Plan for failure, understand dependencies and make recovery part of the design.
Make repeatable work reproducible. Keep configuration explicit and changes reviewable.
Collect signals that explain system behavior and help the person handling an incident.
Treat patching, least privilege and secrets management as ongoing operational work.
Choose the simplest solution that meets the requirements and can be maintained by the team.
